Some Knowledge

I just read an interesting ebook I got from a site that is a blog business.  The book talked about different methods of making a blog into a paying business.  It was a very interesting ebook and only took a couple hours to read.  The author’s name is Yaro Starak and you can get a download of the ebook here.

The only problem I had with this ebook is that it is a bit like a sales pitch for this person’s business.  Still, if you don’t mind a bit of sales here and there the book does have some good information.  The key point is that you need to put some good, useful content into your blog and work on getting some traffic.  Once you have decent traffic from various means of exposure like leaving comments and getting links on other websites and blogs, then you go about selling advertising or affiliate products to make some money off all the eyes that are looking at your blog.

I must say I have seen a lot of these concepts written up before in various places, but this was still a good read and not too long.  I enjoyed the way Yaro presents his material and thought it was without a lot of the hype and exorbitant promises you get in a lot of moneymaking schemes online.  It was very businesslike and had a lot of good ideas.  If you are looking for a way to turn your blog into a business you might want to check this out.
